Tech:NYC’s Statement on the 2023 State of the City Address

Tech:NYC issued the following statement in response to today’s 2023 State of the City address by Mayor Eric Adams:

“Ahead of what’s likely to be a more challenging period for the tech sector and the economy overall, the Mayor’s targeted investments in a new biotech incubator in Brooklyn, the city’s SYEP and apprenticeship programs, CUNY2x Tech, electrifying for-hire-vehicle fleets, open space and street-level improvements, and countless quality of life improvements will provide a strong foundation for New York’s next era of creativity and growth.

The tech sector is all in on Mayor Adams’ vision for the city’s future, and we look forward to partnering on creating better economic opportunities, job training, and tech infrastructure that will uphold New York as the most attractive place to start a business, pursue a career and thrive.”

– Julian Kline, Head of Policy, Tech:NYC
