Tech:NYC Statement Following the 2025 New York City Elections

Tech:NYC issued the following statement following the New York City elections.

When New York is affordable and livable, it becomes a magnet for talent and innovation. We’re committed to working with Mayor-elect Mamdani to make sure the city remains a place where great ideas and growing companies, and the technology they produce, can thrive. 

Last night over one million voters also cast their votes in favor of ballot initiatives to make it easier to build new housing. The tech sector and the city at large prosper when more people can afford to live here, and removing bottlenecks to housing will unlock our full economic potential.
